I have also published a free physics PDF book " Force Fields " to be used as a primer for future students for electronics. This WEB site (formatted as an eBook) is designed to add animation and simulation to a teachers physics curriculum or a readers experience. I include many links to Applets that support the subject matter. I usually link to a directory of Applets rather than to the Applet itself and tell reader what Applet to look for. This has the advantage of exposing reader to large number of Applets some of which you may find interesting. The focus of my publications is electronic troubleshooting. The future system troubleshooter will require more than just a knowledge of circuits, but will require good background in math, physics, computers, and transducers in order to interpret data from meters and computer displays. In the past electronic technicians were able to hunt down problems using their meter and scope. Today a technician will have to localize a problem from gage or CRT data displays and than make a couple of instrument reading to complete fault isolation. More often than not technicians will correct problem by replacing a printed circuit board or a likely transducer module without making any measurement on system with their test equipment. Topic 10 is the only physics troubleshooting exercised developed as of 1-10-2006. Meter Math( System Analysis) developed in 2005 is another way of learning non electronics troubleshooting.

I have a BS degree in physics and have specialized in fault isolation (troubleshooting) on systems ranging from vacuum tube missile guidance systems to mainframe computers. I also taught digital electronics at Washington Technical institute for 2 years. I am presently retired from Boeing.
